We just learned today — others may have known it before — that 92.2 “The Ticket” radio in Bangor is holding a TOWN OF THE YEAR contest to pick The Best Town in Maine  — It’s called the “Sweet 16” and Eastport is in the finals for the Downeast Winner — (Calais and Machias have been eliminated and we are “up against” Jonesport in the finals).
