Peter Neptune is a revered Passamaquoddy Tribal Elder and Teacher, who comes from generations of strong and talented people. Tribal members harvest sweetgrass strands in autumn, the weave together the strands representing love, kindness and reverence. Sweetgrass braids are used in sacred ceremonies to strengthen the spirit, and they are also placed in homes to bring in positive energy.
